Sam Kerr Found Not Guilty in Racially Aggravated Harassment Case
In a high-profile trial that sparked discussions on race and justice, Australian football star Sam Kerr has been found not guilty of racially aggravated harassment of a police officer. The verdict, delivered at Kingston Crown Court, comes after the Matildas and Chelsea striker was accused of using racial language during a heated exchange with officers following a late-night taxi dispute in 2023.

Initially, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) had decided against charging Kerr, citing insufficient evidence.
