Rofe, whose last name was McAleer, lived in Cawdor, near Camden, New South Wales, and raised cattle. He initially became known to the public in 2015 when he was on the first season of Married At First Sight Australia with Clare Tamas. A year after filming was completed, the couple broke up.
In 2016, Rofe came back into the public eye by joining Farmer Wants A Wife, a matchmaking show that tries to match rural men with women who are looking for a mate. He chose Belinda Reid in the end, although their relationship dissolved soon after the season concluded.
Problems with the law and with life
After being on reality TV, Rofe had a lot of legal and personal problems. He was found guilty in 2017 of hitting his ex-girlfriend, Casey Williams, in front of her two-year-old daughter after drinking a lot. However, he contested the decision and kept saying he was innocent; therefore, the conviction was thrown out in 2018. He said he felt like he was being targeted and was afraid to make new friends after the event.
In 2016, Rofe’s family property was also looked into for removing trees without permission. The local council wouldn’t say anything about the results of the investigation, but Rofe said his activities were legal and that any criticism was because people were jealous of his new popularity.

Last Years and Legacy
After his time on reality TV, Rofe kept a rather low profile for a while. He went out with Belinda Reid from Farmer Wants A Wife and Natalie Cepenuik, a pig hunter who became famous for posting inflammatory things on social media.
People weren’t sure if Rofe was in a relationship when he died. Police are still looking into the circumstances of his death, and officials have asked anyone with information to get in touch with Camden Police or Crime Stoppers.
Many people in the reality TV world and his admirers are shocked by Rofe’s untimely demise. He will be remembered for his time on Australian reality TV and the difficult personal journey he went through in the public eye, even though he was involved in a lot of controversy.
